Christchurch’s new stadium is right in the middle of town, and it’s already the place to be for a big night out. Big rugby tests, league matches, concerts — it’s all happening here now.

Keep an eye on the calendar and you’ll usually find something worth going to. The Black Ferns, All Whites and Rugby League World Cup have all had games here, and big names like Robbie Williams and Foo Fighters have concerts booked in. There’s even motorsport, with FIM World Supercross coming through. If there’s nothing on when you’re visiting, you can still book a Stadium Tour and have a look around behind the scenes.

Getting There:

It’s an easy trip from The Milano — 3.2km, about 7 minutes by car. On event days the stadium’s on a main bus route too, so you can skip the parking hassle and just hop on a bus into town.
